Five  germination tips for Dalbergia miscolobium (a Brazilian rosewood species) seeds:

  • Scarification – Gently nick or sand the seed coat to help water absorption and speed up germination.

  • Soaking – Soak seeds in warm water (around 30°C) for 24 hours before planting.

  • Well-Draining Soil – Use a light, well-draining mix with organic matter to prevent rot.

  • Warm & Humid Conditions – Maintain temperatures around 25-30°C with moderate humidity.

  • Indirect Light – Provide bright, indirect sunlight to encourage healthy sprouting.

Germination can take 2-4 weeks, so be patient! 🌱
